Esthela, the Author

On the creative side, Esthela uses her pen name (Esthela Núñez Franco) as the author of several children’s books: Breezy Girl, Breezy & Esthela with Friends: Coloring & Activity Book, A Day with Mom, Grandpa is Happy, and My Uncle is Sick. As evidenced by her love of horses, Esthela is an avid equestrian, and her social media often depicts her with horses.

A few years ago, Esthela’s friend helped her see herself on paper for the first time outside the genre of children’s books. While brave enough to write, she didn’t feel the courage to see her writing in print. Esthela took a leap of faith by debuting as a contributor author in A Path to Purpose: Seven Inspired Stories to Find Your True North. This experience opened the flood gates for a unique and transcendent style of writing. Esthela believes every person we meet brings a purpose and a lesson to our lives. There are no coincidences, nor are there plans to make them happen. They just do.

Most recently, Esthela has published Seven Stories for My Father: Letters of Love and Legacy, a heartfelt journey in both English and Spanish; memories of her father and the profound impact he had on her life. Esthela’s mentor and teacher describes her writing style as a testimony to the genuineness of her heart and a living prayer.

Esthela believes everyone has a story – some are just courageous enough to share it. She is currently writing a nonfiction account of living with Systemic Sclerosis and the challenges that come with establishing a healthy lifestyle. Wisdom, Love, and True Grit, has become the biggest challenge of her life, where academic intelligence does not apply; it only requires the presence of heart, soul, genuine love, and authentic relationships. Being a Scleroderma Warrior is not just an honor, but also her purpose and mission; to live how she writes.
